Epic Combo Redux

Epic Combo Redux is a free arcade game: swing a giant hammer at a flood of turtles, chain the hits into a huge combo and race the clock to one million.

Cannons on the right side of the room keep firing little turtles onto the floor, and you are the stick figure with an oversized hammer. Run along the floor, smash every turtle you can reach and watch the hits stack into a combo on the big counter at the bottom of the screen. Every hit also earns money, which you take to the Store to buy new tools that keep the chain going.

Redux is the remastered take on the classic Epic Combo, with fresh visuals, new combo tools and a hammer upgrade. A clock runs the whole time, so the real question is how fast you can reach one million. When you have seen the main game, Unlimited Mode lets you keep smashing with no finish line. It is a great pick for players who like fast arcade action and the "just one more try" feeling of chasing a bigger combo.

Tips

• Keep moving. Turtles land all along the floor, so standing in one spot leaves most of them untouched.
• Walk right to the Store whenever you have cash to spend; new tools are what turn a few hits into a long combo.
• Save up for the hammer upgrade; a stronger hammer is one of the big additions in Redux.
